As a teenager, I always had really good skin. Never too dry, too oily, but just right. Once adulthood hit, so did my skin. Acne began to begin from stresses of life, pregnancy, and surrounding changes as I moved across the country from Louisiana to California. It’s taken me 6 years of trying out tons of products to find something that works for me. I was always told to invest in my skin care, and after drugstore skincare just not cutting it, I did just that. I invested in me.

Moving to California, my skin became very dry from the air’s lack of moisture. My makeup was no longer sitting well on my skin, it became flaky when I used any cosmetic products on my skin. I got tired of not having the moisturized skin I used to, so I went to my local Ulta and asked about what could work for me. I was then introduced to the brand Juice Beauty.

Juice Beauty was created by the serial health and wellness entrepreneur Karen Behnke. The products are all organic backed by tons of science. Once I had put the products on my skin at Ulta, I was sold. I’ve been using almost the entire Juice Beauty line for about 6 months now, and I don’t think I can ever look back. My acne is gone, my skin looks like it has more collagen, it’s much more moisturized, and overall looks healthier. So let’s talk about what I’ve been using that has helped me a ton.

I wear pretty heavy makeup most of the time for when I stream on Twitch under bright lights and on camera, so my skin can get pretty angry. Every evening I start off by removing my eye makeup with the Lancôme Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover. I have sensitive eyes after staring at bright screens for hours, and this does not irritate them at all. Removes quickly, easily, and fully. It can be purchased at Ulta for $30 USD.

Next I begin my Juice Beauty routine and start removing my makeup entirely with the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular 2-in-1 Cleanser (also an anti-wrinkle formula). This can be purchased from Ulta or their Juice Beauty website for $34 USD. I will usually wash my face twice just to make sure that I’ve removed everything so I’m not ever leaving anything behind to clog my pores. You don’t have to do this, I’m just a clean freak.

Once I’ve cleansed my face entirely of makeup and grime, I move into re-hydrating my skin. I use the Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist, which can be purchased for $25 USD from the Juice Beauty website, on my freshly cleansed skin and boy does it feel cooling. This mist can also be used to set your makeup or throughout the day when you feel you skin needs a little extra moisture. It’s been my life saver during the super dry winter months.

After hydrating with the most, it’s time for a serum. Now this I change up from time to time. Oh no particular days or nights do I use one over the other, except for just how I’m feeling. I used either the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum ($80 USD) or the Antioxidant Serum ($48 USD). I probably use the latter more often, though.

Then it’s onto the eyes again, but this time to help them out a bit. I don’t have dark circles or bags, possibly because of my genes, or because I’ve used eye creams since I was about 19 years old from different brands. Your guess is as good as mine. Without wanting to risk losing how my under eyes look, I’ve continued to care for them with the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Eye Treatment every night. It can be found on the Juice Beauty website for $50 USD.

Last, but certainly not least, I finish off my nightly skincare with a moisturizer. I use the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer every single night on my face, and bring it down my neck. It has such a light apple scent that I love so much and I can just feel my skin drinking it all in. This can be purchased for $70 USD from the Juice Beauty website as well.

My skincare routine is pretty extensive, and it's not for everyone, but it's what works for me personally (dry/combo skin). There are always cheaper alternatives, but remember to always invest in your skin, because it's with you for life!
