painting while sicksicksick

Today I’m feeling sad. I had planned to speak at a Women’s Empowerment event this morning and had to cancel because I’m sick.

Big bummer, but I’m still feeling grateful to have had the opportunity to be included and I’m trusting there will be more opportunities in the future.

In the meantime, I’ve been hanging with Alina today and I took some time to practice with watercolors a bit. I really love learning how to layer these and I’m looking forward to building up my understanding of techniques and creative ways to make all sorts of new things.

These are my first round of attempts at bookmarks (guess which one is Alina’s haha) and I’ll be sending them out in the love notes for y’all soon.

I’m just trying to get a PO Box set up and then I’ll be all ready.
